Compensation Analyst - DCP Midstream

JOB SUMMARY

Administers compensation programs with an intense focus on accuracy to aide retention through a positive employee experience. Conducts analyses to assess effectiveness of compensation programs and competitiveness to market.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Assists with major initiatives in maintaining and enhancing compensation programs, and ensures data integrity and accuracy throughout the process

- Builds a collaborative relationship with HR business partners, recruiters, and business leaders on compensation programs and initiatives

- Researches market data, conducts job evaluations, and determines offers for promotions and new hires

- Administers variable compensation programs (incentive plans, special pay, etc.) as well as develops communications, payment calculations, and submission to Payroll

- Uses analytics to monitor the effectiveness of compensation plans and policies and models the financial impact of various programs

- Participates in general and industry-related salary surveys and conducts benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness

- Conducts short-term and long-term incentive tracking and calculations

- Performs compensation related research projects, evaluates information, and prepares presentations conveying insights and findings for leadership

- Creates and updates job descriptions ensuring they accurately reflect the work being performed

Researches new regulations and judicial decisions related to compensation practices to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), federal, state and local laws

- Assists with creating presentations and trainings on various compensation programs

- Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business or a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience. 

- A minimum of 2 years related experience is required; oil and gas industry experience preferred

- Experience in market pricing and base pay management including compliance and administration

- Good math/quantitative skills and familiarity with financial concepts utilized for planning, designing, researching, analyzing and auditing large volumes of data

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary Range

The salary range for this job is $61,600 - $98,500
