Recruitment & Employment Manager

Colorado College is looking for a Recruitment and Employment Manager. This role will lead strategic recruitment and staffing through effective development of initiatives, outreach, and operational management. Develops creative and effective marketing, sourcing, and selection processes to drive success in recruitment and retention outcomes. Promotes diversity and inclusivity in all selection processes; builds and maintains strong relationships with search committees and hiring departments. Provides guidance and best practices for antiracist recruitment and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring managers and departments to develop a thorough understanding of position needs and effectively support and design antiracist talent recruitment strategies to attract and enhance a diverse and inclusive process.
  • Develop and maintain local, regional, and national partnerships to understand respective labor markets and enhance recruitment efforts. Partner with the DEI leadership on diversity recruitment and retention initiatives and strategies.
  • Establish and coordinate business partnerships to conduct city introductions/tours for out of town/state candidates.
  • Actively support search committees and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection processes to ensure search activities are conducted equitably, timely and effectively. Provide guidance to the search committee/hiring manager to ensure understanding and appropriate use of the online application system processes and assist them to create an overall positive candidate interview experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and five years of experience leading talent acquisition processes, driving diverse and inclusive sourcing and hiring practices. Proven knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and human resources administration concepts, and current recruiting and sourcing methods A proven record of developing and effectively managing recruitment programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in the following areas:
  • Developing and executing successful recruitment strategies and interview techniques for candidates at all levels
  • Establishing partnerships that enhance recruitment efforts and diversity initiatives.
  • Training search teams
  • Developing and analyzing recruitment and retention metrics including EEO data
  • Using business application software, such as MS Office Suite, to generate professional documents and reports
  • Working with online application and recruitment tools
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity awareness through actions, interactions and communications with others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources; PHR or SPHR certification; experience in higher education or other educational setting; experience using PeopleAdmin applicant tracking system and HRIS systems; experience in faculty searches. Experience working with employees from outside the USA on their visa requirements to work in the USA

Salary Range: $57,248 - $97,321
