Reynaldo (Rey) Ramirez, Co-Founder, Thrive HR Consulting
Rey is a Co-Founder of Thrive HR Consulting. He is a leader with more than 25 years’ experience in high technology organizations and international telecommunications companies. He specializes in the end to end Merger, Acquisitions, Integration, Divestitures and Carveout processes and has executed on 45+ global transactions. Rey has served as a Management Consultant for Deloitte LLP, RGP Consulting and as a Sr. HR Leader for Cisco Systems, Electronic Arts, BMC Software and Cognizant Technology Solutions. Rey understands how to work closely with Corporate Development Teams and other Key Functions to ensure employees have a positive transaction experience.
David has over twenty years of overall HR experience in addressing people and organizational challenges and risks including those arising from mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He has led the end-to-end HR workstream from due diligence through integration planning and execution for dozens of transactions both public and private. David’s experience includes supporting founder-led acquisitions, large company spinoffs, a public traded subsidiary, and an IPO. He has worked on transactions from $100 million to over a billion dollars and with over 20,000 employees.
David was a client partner at Korn Ferry and prior to that worked in Citigroup’s institutional markets and banking businesses and then at Citi Holdings. Before his focus on M&A, he was responsible for organizational design, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, talent assessment and development and organizational culture initiatives. David began his career specializing in compensation and HRIS, ultimately leading the COE function for Western Europe. In addition to his HR experience, he oversaw a $1 billion plus portfolio of alternative assets and served as a board member of the investment subsidiaries. David received a M.A. in Human Resources Leadership from Rutgers University’s School of Management and Labor Relations. An undergraduate from Notre Dame, he spends fall Saturdays cheering for the Fighting Irish.
