Description:

Pay equity has moved to the forefront of the total rewards world, with no signs of slowing down.  During this session, we will discuss the Colorado “Equal Pay for Equal Work Act”, how it differs from other state laws, and what you can do to get your company ready for 2021.  We will also consider lessons learned from other states, and discuss how Colorado companies can be use those lessons to better prepare for our Act.

Brennan Rittenhouse is Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in its Compensation & Benefits group.  He is an attorney by education, with an LL.M. in Taxation, but has spent nearly his entire career in the compensation field.  He is an expert in all areas of executive, independent director, and broad-based compensation consulting, including consulting in pay equity.  Previously, he served as the Head of Compensation for Vista Outdoor, a public company outside of Salt Lake City, UT, where he oversaw the compensation programs for approximately 50 consumer brands.

Emily Milligan is a Senior Associate with Alvarez & Marsal, also in the Compensation & Benefits group.  She assists with both qualified retirement plan and compensation-related issues, including pay equity analysis.  With an MS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Emily is an expert in data analysis and specializes in designing customized models for her clients.
