Join RMTRA membership in welcoming to Denver, Mr. Scott Cawood, Ed.D, CCP, GRP – the new CEO and leader at WorldatWork for a Meet & Greet Happy Hour!

We will hear an update from Scott on current events with WorldatWork and his progress with the team in continuing to build the legacy of Worldatwork as a global human resources association working hard to deliver the optimal value for its more than 70,000 members and affiliates. Scott also wants to hear from RMTRA Membership on what we want to see from WorldatWork and the future of our profession in Total Rewards, so come join us for some networking and make your voice heard.

Prior to joining WorldatWork, Scott most recently led the global organizational effectiveness team at W. L Gore & Associates, Inc., and before that was the President for Synygy (now Optymyze), a global sales incentive software and services organization. His career at Synygy started as the Vice President of Human Resources. He has held positions as VP for global talent management at Revlon and HR business partner at W. L. Gore & Associates.

Formerly, Scott worked at the Great Place to Work Institute, which selects the “100 Best Companies to Work for in America' which appears annually in Fortune magazine. As a leader in researching and consulting on organizational culture, Scott serves in a research advisory capacity for best place to work programs throughout the globe as well as a visiting professor at Georgetown University, where he teaches organizational culture and change.

Scott's book, Destination Profit: Creating People-Profit Opportunities in your Organization was released in 2006 in the US and in China in 2011.

His clients have included Kellogg’s, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tommy Hilfiger, Starwood Hotels, US Airways, Alaska Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Dow Chemical, National Wildlife Federation, Revlon, Booz Allen Hamilton, Dell Computers, National Starch, St Luke’s and Memorial Health Systems.

He completed his doctorate at UPENN through a joint program at Wharton and the Graduate School of Education. His dissertation focused on how culture is learned and transferred. The scope, impact, and depth of research earned Scott the UPENN award of distinction.
